FAQ

Is this a replacement for Glyphs?

No. Fonts Craft is a pre-production tool that accelerates the early stages of font design — especially adding Cyrillic support to Latin fonts. You export OTF and continue final polish (kerning classes, OpenType features, hinting) in Glyphs or FontLab.

What font formats are supported?

Import: OTF, TTF, WOFF. Export: OTF, TTF. All contour data (cubic bezier curves) is preserved. Component references are flattened on export for maximum compatibility.

Is it free?

Currently free during beta. We're gathering feedback from professional type designers to shape the product. Create an account and start designing.

Can I use my own Glyphs naming commands?

Yes! Paste your Glyphs-format mapping commands directly: A=A-cy B=Ve-cy T=Ge-cy. The system parses them and creates/maps glyphs automatically. All standard Cyrillic names are supported.
